Applying National Educational Technology Standards (NETS) in the Real World
Last summer, I had the opportunity to expand my technology leadership as a school principal by attending a couple of unique experiences. I hit on some of these experiences in my blog titled Strange New Worlds. As the year progressed, I’ve continued to reflect on effective leadership practices – what they are, how they look, why they do or don’t happen – and the resources available to support my continued growth.
In an attempt to make sense of some of these resources, I’ve developed a document that aligns the National Educational Technology Standards (NETS) with the free tools any educator can access via Success at the Core.
Check out this alignment document: Success at the Core and the National Educational Technology Standards: Essential Conditions. And share your thoughts on what resonates as you think about expanding your use of technology in your classroom or school.
