Corrie Freiwaldt

Instructional Facilitator, Tiffany Park Elementary | Corrie Freiwaldt is a National Board Certified Teacher who has the role of instructional facilitator at Tiffany Park Elementary in the Renton School District of Renton, Washington. She also works 30% of her time at the district level facilitating elementary science. Previously, she has taught 7th and 5th grade. Corrie has used Success at the Core Teacher Development resources with staff in her district to refine her district’s Vision of Instruction. Through these training sessions, teachers are able to see what best practices look like in a real classroom with similar or tougher demographics and reflect and adapt these strategies to their own practice. Currently she is focused on the Common Core State Standards and how video examples of these standards in action are powerful tools for teachers’ professional development.
